#Iran commander: We can destroy Israel in under 8 minutes

If supreme leader gives order, Revolutionary Guards ‘will raze the Zionist regime’ quickly, says senior adviser of elite al-Quds unit

A senior Iranian military commander boasted that the Islamic Republic could “raze the Zionist regime in less than eight minutes.”

Ahmad Karimpour, a senior adviser to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ elite unit al-Quds Force, said if Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei gave the order to destroy Israel, the Iranian military had the capacity to do so quickly.

“If the Supreme Leader’s orders [are] to be executed, with the abilities and the equipment at our disposal, we will raze the Zionist regime in less than eight minutes,” Karimpour said Thursday, according to the semi-official Fars News Agency.

A senior Iranian general on May 9 announced that the country’s armed forces successfully tested a precision-guided, medium-range ballistic missile two weeks earlier that could reach Israel, the state-run Tasnim agency reported.

“We test-fired a missile with a range of 2,000 kilometers and a margin of error of eight meters,” Brigadier General Ali Abdollahi was quoted as saying at a Tehran science conference. The eight-meter margin means the “missile enjoys zero error,” he told conference participants.

Iran in March tested ballistic missiles, including two with the words “Israel must be wiped off the earth” emblazoned on them, according to the US and other Western powers.

Under a nuclear deal signed last year between world powers and Iran, ballistic missile tests are not forbidden outright but are “not consistent” with a United Nations Security Council resolution from July 2015, US officials say.

According to the UN decision, “Iran is called upon not to undertake any activity related to ballistic missiles designed to be capable of delivering nuclear weapons, including launches using such ballistic missile technology,” until October 2023.

Khamenei has repeatedly threatened to annihilate the Jewish state, and in September 2015 suggested Israel would not be around in 25 years. In a quote posted to Twitter by Khamenei’s official account on September 9, 2015, Khamenei addressed Israel, saying, “You will not see next 25 years,” and added that the Jewish state will be hounded until it is destroyed.

“After negotiations, in Zionist regime they said they had no more concern about Iran for next 25 years; I’d say: Firstly, you will not see next 25 years; God willing, there will be nothing as Zionist regime by next 25 years. Secondly, until then, struggling, heroic and jihadi morale will leave no moment of serenity for Zionists,” the quote from Iran’s top leader reads in broken English.

In November 2014, Khamenei stated that the “barbaric” Jewish state “has no cure but to be annihilated.” A plan titled “9 key questions about the elimination of Israel” was posted on his Twitter account, using the hashtag #handsoffalaqsa, in reference to the tensions on the Temple Mount. The sometimes grammatically awkward list explained the how and why of Khomeini’s vision for replacing Israel with a Palestinian state.

The first point stated that “the fake Zionist regime has tried to realize its goals by means of infanticide, homicide, violence & iron fist while boasts about it blatantly.” Due to the above, Khomeini argued, “the only means of bringing Israeli crimes to an end is the elimination of this regime.”

Why does UNESCO Insist On Rewriting Israel’s History?

“UNESCO ignores the unique Jewish connection to the Temple Mount, the site of two temples for 1,000 years, and the place to which Jews prayed for thousands of years,” Netanyahu said in a statement last month.

No one should be surprised by UNESCO’s resolution, passed April 11th, yet politicians across the spectrum in Israel have reacted angrily towards a UN organization that has catapulted itself into the complicated political quagmire that is the Middle East.  After all, Yair Lapid expressed the outrage by explaining how the most recent decision goes against UNESCO’s charter.

“This resolution was an utterly irresponsible intervention in one of the most complex places in the Middle East. UNESCO prides itself on promoting tolerance, interfaith and intercultural dialogue, yet it passes resolutions which erase the Jewish people from the historical narrative,” Lapid said.

The resolution in question takes Israel to task for preventing Muslim access to the Temple Mount and even the Kotel. These two sites, holy to Jews around the world are named as Muslim/Palestinian holy sites Al-Aqsa Mosque/Al-Haram Al-Sharif and Buraq Plaza.

The resolution at one point says:

Further deplores the Israeli decision to approve a plan to build a two-line cable car system in East Jerusalem and the so called ‘Liba House’ project in the Old City of Jerusalem as well as the construction of the so called ‘Kedem Center’, a visitor centre near the southern wall of the Mosque, the construction of the Strauss Building and the project of the elevator in Al Buraq Plaza ‘Western Wall Plaza’ and urges Israel, the Occupying Power, to renounce the above-mentioned projects and to stop the construction works in conformity with its obligations under the relevant UNESCO conventions, resolutions and decisions.”

Another paragraph states:

Calls on Israel, the Occupying Power, to stop violations against the Waqf properties east and south of Al-Aqsa Mosque/Al-Haram Al-Sharif, such as the recent confiscations of parts of Al Youssefeyah cemetery and Al-Sawanah area by banning Muslims from burying their dead in some spaces and by planting Jewish fake graves in other spaces of the Muslim cemeteries, in addition to the dramatic change of the status and distinctive character of the Umayyad Palaces, in particular the violation of the continued conversion of many Islamic and Byzantine remains into the so-called Jewish ritual baths or into Jewish prayer places.”

With this sort of language, the government has essentially lost control of a process that began a long time ago.  The process of international delegitimization began by an Arab world seeking the help of other UN member states, has systematically attempted to erase Jewish history in Israel for the sole purpose of rendering Israel’s existence just one long occupation based on historical fabrications.

The question isn’t why the Arab world is engaging in such profuse insanity, but rather why is the rest of the Western world going along with it?  After all, by supporting UNESCO’s denial the Jewish connection to the Temple Mount or even most of the Land of Israel, many countries in the Christian world have in fact undermined the roots to their own history. So why the rush to support such erroneous claims by the Islamic countries pushing these sorts of resolution?

In his book 1984 George Orwell penned what has now become one of his most famous quotes: “Who controls the past controls the future; who controls the present controls the past.” The UN and its associated organizations like UNESCO understand full well that history supports Jewish claims in their entirety to all of the Land of Israel.  More than this, history shows that is was not only the Roman Empire and later the Byzantines that contributed to the injustices of the Jewish people in their historic homeland, but the Arab world by and large finished off through forced colonizationwhatever fledgling community of Jews remained in the Land of Israel.

Dr. Harry Mandelbaum noted the following in an article he wrote for Think Israel:

  • The historian James Parker wrote: “During the first century after the Arab conquest [670-740 CE], the caliph and governors of Syria and the Holy Land ruled entirely over Christian and Jewish subjects. Apart from the Bedouin in the earliest days, the only Arabs west of the Jordan were the garrisons.”
  • In year 985 the Arab writer Muqaddasi complained: “the mosque is empty of worshipers… The Jews constitute the majority of Jerusalem’s population” (The entire city of Jerusalem had only one mosque?).
  • In 1377, Ibn Khaldun, one of the most creditable Arab historians, wrote: “Jewish sovereignty in the Land of Israel extended over 1400 years… It was the Jews who implanted the culture and customs of the permanent settlement”

These are uncomfortable facts if you are trying to paint the opposite picture.

In order to perpetrate a future dismantling of the 3rd Jewish Commonwealth in its historic boundaries, the claims of the Jewish people must be returned to the realm of myth.  Does this in fact cut away at the roots of Christianity?  It does, but Constantine through the Council of Nicea in 325 showed that he and the Church were perfectly comfortable in doing away with Christianity’s roots by reworking history and projecting that rebuilt history back onto the past.

UNESCO is in a sense doing what the Council of Nicea did centuries ago; attempting to permanently control the future by controlling the past.  The irony is that today’s Church has by and large made peace with the idea that the Judaism serves as their religion’s roots.  Despite this acceptance, their overtures to the Jewish people came about precisely because of the Jewish Nation’s return to its historic homeland, which destroyed one of the major tenets of early Church philosophy known as the wandering Jew.

The assumption by the Church, was the exile of the Jewish Nation came about due to a rejection of Jesus, proving covenant between the Jews and the Almighty to be null and void.  According to the Church this exile would continue forever.  Aurelius Prudentius Clemens said as far back as 400 CE: “From place to place the homeless Jew wanders in ever-shifting exile, since the time when he was torn from the abode of his fathers and has been suffering the penalty for murder, and having stained his hands with the blood of Christ whom he denied, paying the price of sin.” The Church was forced to dismantle this tenet upon the Jewish people’s return.  By reversing this sort of doctrine, the Church is essentially accepting the veracity of the Mosaic covenant.

Supporting UNESCO or at least remaining silent stems from the inherent need to deny a national connection the Holy Land for the Jewish people. For the world, this history, the history of the Nation of Israel and its connection to its land has become a burden. After all, it is far easier to deal with the Jewish burden than the Muslim one and perhaps, just perhaps that tenet of the wandering Jew, so vital to the Church and many Christian theologians, will be reinstated in a very careful way.

The nefariousness of all of this is of course obvious, but what is perhaps more telling is that the Israeli government has assumed this is just some sort of mistake or lack of knowledge. It isn’t, and the faster it understands this, the faster it can start pushing back successfully.

Israel? Not Apartheid; Islam? Nothing but Apartheid

IMG_1122
Israel has long been accused of being an apartheid nation state–and a state involved in  “ethnic cleansing.”

Pure propaganda! This is a brazen Big Lie.

The largest practitioner of both gender and religious apartheid in the world is Islam or Islamism.

Religious apartheid exists when the dominant state religion allows no other religion to exist and flourish. For example, Muslim countries do not allow churches to be built, Christian insignia to be displayed; Muslim mobs and governments destroy existing churches or convert them into mosques.

Today, living Christians are persecuted, tortured and murdered in the name of Islam all across the Muslim world. Oddly, on April 16th of this year, (for the second time) the Pope offered no solace and no asylum to persecuted Christian; he publicly offered to take in a symbolic number of Muslim refugees into the Vatican.

For many centuries, Muslims have also forcibly converted, persecuted, and massacred Hindus, the “wrong” kind of Muslim, (the Shia v Sunni war is quite intense), ex-Muslims, Muslim dissidents, Baha’i, Zoroastrians, and Buddhists. Afghanistan was once a mainly Buddhist country until Islamic Jihad ravaged the land and massacred the Buddhist monks who refused to convert to Islam.

Jews?  We are  pariahs, “monkeys,” evil-doers –and this is the only reason that Israel, the Jewish state, has been under attack for more than one hundred years in the Jewish Holy Land. It is the reason that Muslim mobs and Muslim leaders  have consistently exiled, taxed, tortured and murdered Arab, North African, and Central Asian Jews.

Israel allows Arab Muslims and Arab Christians to live in Israel–they are Israeli citizens, some serve in the Knesset, sit on the Israeli Supreme Court, work as physicians, nurses, and researchers in Jewish hospitals.

Palestinians envision Shomron and Judea aka the West Bank as a place that must become “yudenrein,” free of Jews. Thisis ethnic cleansing. The entire Muslim Middle East is now “yudenrein,” just as Gaza now is. This is ethnic cleansing.

In terms of gender apartheid: I once lived in Kabul and was, in effect, held captive there for five long months in a marriage that was not at all what I expected. I write about this in An American Bride in Kabul. I love my opening line…”I once lived in a harem in Afghanistan…”

It was a grand adventure but a very dangerous one. I could not believe my eyes when I first saw women wearing burqas–sensory deprivation isolation chambers which the West should ban. (I am not talking about headgear, just about face masks).

In 2003, after a very successful feminist lecture, an African-American feminist audience at a free-standing conference at Barnard, asked me–completely off-topic–where I stood on the issue of the women of “Palestine.”

I responded by saying: “I think you are asking me where I stand on the issue of apartheid and I oppose it. Islam is the largest practitioner of gender and religious apartheid in the world.” And I began explaining what I meant.

A near-riot broke out and I had to be hustled out for my safety. These feminists did not care about women or about “Palestine;” they cared about demonizing Israel and, as women of color, they identified with Arabs because they thought they Arabs are all people of color; that there is no such thing as Jews of color; and because they have absolutely no idea of the anti-black prejudice that characterizes Arab and Muslim cultures.

I was both an eyewitness and a survivor of the kind of gender apartheid that is indigenous to many tribal cultures. Barbaric customs, which include the savage subordination of women, have not been caused by Western imperialism or colonialism.

This point is very hard for many Western thinkers to fathom.

Practices such as forced veiling, purdah, honor-based violence, child marriage, arranged marriage, polygamy, honor killing, and FGM, long preceded the rise of the Taliban, Al-Qaeda, Hamas, Boko Haram, and ISIS.

Furthermore, most Western thinkers do not comprehend that Islam has a long history of slavery, racism, religious and gender apartheid, colonialism, imperialism, conversion via the sword, etc.

This understanding should be easy to achieve given our daily, horrendous headlines. But no one wishes to be the first to say: “The Emperor is naked.” Do they?

Today, Orwell’s rules apply. Once the universities have indoctrinated the coming generations; once people are infected with a fake but lethal narrative, reason alone cannot prevail.

People are punished for thinking independently. They fear that by criticizing barbaric behavior when committed by formerly colonized men of color, especially Arabs, particular “Palestinians,” (we have the malevolent influence of Edward Said to thank for this) that they themselves will be demonized as racist “Islamophobes.”

Unfortunately, the virus of anti-Semitism (Jew hatred) has been rising among progressives/leftists–the so-called “good people.”

Increasingly in the 21st century, people who were once classical liberals have now become totalitarian leftists;  those who were once in favor of free speech and academic freedom now confuse hate speech with free speech and are willing to grant hate speech, Blood Libels, and junk social science, the privileges of academic freedom.

Unbelievably, the global professoriate and human rights activist industry today stand with “Palestine,” Occupy Wall Street, and Black Lives Matter, and not with Christians, Yazidis, and Kurds who are being massacred  by Muslims—or with the women who are being kidnapped into sex slavery by ISIS and Boko Haram.

I have worked with Christians–the Hatune Foundation–who have been rescuing ISIS’s sex slaves. Anti-Christians are not doing this work, although Western feminists have been involved in teaching the counselors who console them the basics of Western trauma and recovery practices.

Even if I could be persuasive, the coming generations are not getting to hear or read me. Non-invitations and dis-invitations can do that. To the best of my knowledge, four of my six 21st century books, The New Anti-SemitismThe Death of FeminismAn American Bride in Kabul and Living History: On The Front Lines for Israel and the Jews2003-2015 have never been adopted by a university for a course.

The tasks before us are clear:

Globally, we must militarily, economically, legally, politically, intellectually, ideologically, theologically, and socially defeat Islamist Jihad.

We must also hold our universities accountable for not teaching objective truth, for preferring junk social science and propaganda.

We must restore civility and intellectual and political diversity to our campuses and to our media.

Brown Shirt-like mobs should not be allowed to engage in “hostile takeovers” of lectures with which they disagree.

We must also somehow de-program those who have been indoctrinated with America-hating and Israel-hating propaganda.

Thus, America should leave the U.N., which has not stopped a single genocide or a single honor killing and has only been effective in one thing only: legalizing Jew hatred.
