Remember those “collaborators” that Hamas killed and dragged their bodies around behind motorcycles? None of them were collaborators. They were just political opponents of Hamas. A category that extends down to a Gaza taxi driver who criticized Hamas.
The “collaborator” was a taxi driver who would talk with his passengers about Hamas corruption. The “confession” includes his complaints about Suha Arafat stealing a fortune and spending it in Paris, Hamas stealing and storing fuel for its own purposes while Gazans went without, blaming Hamas for the blockade of Gaza, criticism of the kidnapping of Gilad Shalit, Hamas stealing money, the pointlessness of the 2009 Gaza war, Hamas indifference to the fate of ordinary Gazans, and Hamas importing luxury cars only for their own members.
The charge is that the driver was spreading rumors on the orders of Israeli intelligence. According to the site, he confessed.
No doubt the Mossad hired a taxi driver to bitch to his passengers about Hamas and Suha Arafat as part of a brilliant plan to take down Hamas.
Incidents like this remind us that Hamas is not just a terrorist group, it’s a totalitarian Muslim Brotherhood entity which seeks absolute power. Yes it wants to commit genocide, but it also wants to suppress all dissent as well. And it exploited the recent war that it began as a means of taking care of some of its critics.
Hamas’ idea of a collaborator is anyone who opposes its rule. That’s the same definition that the Muslim Brotherhood as a whole uses.
