But I thought the”suffering” was unbearable like a concentration camp, or apartheid? Everyone looks like they eat quite well to me… And the only oppression I see is from the Palestinian government to the Arabs in the disputed territories. Guess we can keep all the aid then and the Gazans are disqualified from refugee status in their defacto enclave too…
From Y-NET
Senior Hamas member Mahmoud al-Zahar dismissed a statement made by Hamas Politburo Chief Khaled Mashaal, who claimed recently that the group will hold mass rallies against Israel within the Gaza Strip.
“Popular resistance is inappropriate for the Gaza Strip,” al-Zahar said. “Against whom exactly would we rally? Such resistance would be fitting if Gaza was occupied.” However, he claimed that all forms of resistance – including the armed kind – are appropriate for the West Bank, as it is “still under occupation.” (Elior Levy)
So if President Mahmoud Abbas and Gaza Prime Minister Ismail Haniyah of Hamas are going to get back in bed together, but Haniyah will only get in if the West Bank Prime Minister Salam Fayyad climbs out, and the Muslim brotherhood is allowed to move in. Hamas Political Bureau Khaled Mashaal, living in exile wants to copy the Arab spring to free themselves from the Zionist occupation, while the wart on Foreign Minister Mahmoud Zahar‘s Nose continues to grow as he undercuts his masters every statements. Meanwhile they will never give up the quest to liberate all of “Palestine”, yet over 70% would leave at the drop off a hat.
Only unity I see here is the desire to continue picking up the welfare check, while committing jihad as much as possible until they someday manage to destroy Israel. Enough already.
